SOLM partners with Christian community-based nonprofits in the developing world who work to empower the vulnerable within their communities.
By working with a network of nonprofits on the ground within the country, SOLM is able to leverage the on-the-ground experience and expertise of local partners to optimize the resources provided by donors abroad.
Currently, SOLM is working with several partners in the following regions of Ghana: Central, Eastern, and Volta.
In 2023, SOLM began sponsoring vulnerable young women through apprenticeships. Through this program, they are learning skills to help them support themselves and their families.
2022 saw a drastic rise in food insecurity. In response, SOLM provided emergency food assistance to 435 vulnerable people in Ghana.
In 2022 and 2023, SOLM sponsored a joint project with One Life Aid Foundation to empower hundreds of children to attend school in Ghana. Support includes school uniforms, shoes, school supplies, backpacks and feminine products which enable girls to attend school.
In 2022, one of SOLM‘s partners made us aware of 22 children in a remote village who could not afford to go to school. SOLM provided uniforms, shoes, school supplies (including desks & chairs), and school fees.
